The Queen of Broadway, Audra McDonald, returns to television in a new CBS pilot entitled “The Ordained”. Known for her role on the legal drama “The Practice” she is ready to get back into the legal department, it seems, with this new drama. Audra will take on the role of Anthea, said to be a senior litigator who serves as the metro and boss maitre main character Tom. Tom will be played by Charlie Cox, the son of a powerful family who becomes a lawyer to save his sister from assassination. Audra’s character is described as the boss who lives to win cases and “runs Iron Man races to unwind”. We can’t wait to see the Queen back on our television weekly.
