Award Nominations

NAACP Image Award Nominations: Broadway Black Talent Top Contenders

The 52nd annual NAACP Image Award nominations have been announced. Among the list, you’ll see some very familiar Broadway Black stars that you know and love on the stage and the screen.

Anika Noni-Rose, Chloe Bailey, Erika Alexander, Nicco Annan, and TC Carson presented the nominees via Instagram. Noni-Rose & Annan garnering nominations for work in the holiday musical Jingle Jangle: A Christman Journey and Katori Hall‘s play turned television series,  P-Valley, respectively.

The nominees are Viola Davis, Debbie Allen, Angela Bassett, Keith David, Sterling K. Brown, Simone Missick, Jenifer Lewis, Aunjanue Ellis, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Radha Blank, Phylicia Rashad, J. Alphonse Nicholson & so many more.
