Brandy Sings Home From The Wiz On The Subway In Disguise

It’s exactly what you think it is. Often referred to as the vocal bible, the superstar artist boarded a subway train here in NYC, the 1 train to 50th street to be exact, and sang her little heart out. You can tell she was headed to the theatre, as she is currently on Broadway in Chicago The Musical as Roxie Hart, and wanted to a have a little fun in the mean time.

Watch below as Brandy begins to sing Home from The Wiz, which she has made very clear before that she would love to play the role of Dorothy on Broadway. She sounds great to us and we would love to see her in the role as well. However, we’re not so sure the NYC subway audience was ready for what Brandy had to offer and it seemed no one seemed to care at that time. They were all just trying to get to point B from A, which is the life of a New Yorker. It really never matters how talented you are on the subway. Its tough, tough world but Brandy handled it great.

Check it out! And if you have gotten your tickets to Chicago, DO IT!
