Broadway & Beyond is Here For BIPOC Stage Managers!

Access for Stage Managers of Color

CALLING ALL BIPOC STAGE MANAGERS! The time has now come for all of us to congregate into our new land of virtual meetings and network among some of the most profound stage managers on “Broadway & Beyond.”

Founded by three Black professional stage managers, Lisa Dawn Cave, Beverly Jenkins, and Jimmie Lee Smith, Broadway & Beyond was created to connect BIPOC stage managers to industry professionals in a panel discussion current Broadway stage managers, general managers, cruise lines, and regional theaters. The event will take place on December 17th from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm EST and will be headlined by Tony Award-winning director Kenny Leon.

Attendance is free, although the event will cap at 75 participants. Registration is open now until December 13th.

The event is supported by the Stage Management Association & Broadway Stage Management Symposium, Black Theatre Caucus, Black Theatre United, Broadway Advocacy Coalition, and The Year of the Stage Manager!
