It’s Black History Month, y’all! Last week, the Black community mourned the loss of Black pioneer actress Cicely Tyson. However as we enter the new month, we continue to use this time to celebrate her work, honors, and the legacy she contributed to the stage and screen.
Black Theatre United and Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley’s “Stars in the House” will honor Ms. Tyson tonight, February 2nd at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST live on the Stars in the House website and on the Black Theatre United Facebook page!
Guest appearances will be made by Dr. Traci Gardner, Angela Robinson, Rhonda Ross, Jordin Sparks, and Linda Twine. Additionally, Black Theatre United founding member NaTasha Yvette Williams will join Rudetsky and Wesley as Guest Host!
