This epic history play by William Shakespeare is based on real events in Roman history and is a tale of power, loyalty, and honor. As with most classics, there have been many interpretations and iterations of this piece, and all of Shakespeare’s works, throughout the history of the theater; but telling this story exclusivelywith women of color definitely brings something new and exciting.

This will be the last production of the second year of this festival and is presented by Take Wing And Soar Productions whose mission is to give “center stage opportunities to classically trained actors of color”. Joining with them is Voza Rivers/ New Heritage Theatre Group.
