Inspiration and fear seem to be linked together. Inspiration strikes, an idea is planted and a story written. The entire show from the actor’s first entrance to the final curtain call and every element reveals itself as if it were an explicitly visual memory. The first draft is on paper and ready for review when fear plants its roots. The trust in the gift, the knowing of the impact of the story, none of that matters now. All that seems to matter is fear. It could be the inexperience or not knowing where the finish line resides, one thing is for certain, the vision and execution come to a standstill, but 2021 will be different. Roundabout Theatre has an option for you.
