Jocelyn Bioh is a native of New York City, NY. The West African actress received her B.A. in English and minors in Theatre and Professional Writing from The Ohio State University and her Master’s Degree in Theatre – Playwriting from Columbia University. Recently she was honored by being listed on The Kilroy’s 2015 List for her play, Nollywood Dreams.

The versatile actress’ Off Broadway credits include: An Octoroon (Soho Rep, World Premiere), SEED (co-produced by Hip-Hop Theater Festival and Classical Theatre of Harlem, World Premiere), and NEIGHBORS (The Public Theater, World Premiere). Bioh’s regional credits include: BootyCandy (Wilma Theater) and Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet (City Theatre).
